Decadent Publishing, @57k words
Contemporary, Erotic Romance, Menage/multiple partners, GLBT/gay

Two young and indecently handsome bicyclists visit a village in the French Alps during the summer holidays. Forced by a raging storm to spend the night at the local bed & breakfast, they invade the quiet lives of hostess Anne and her husband, Brian.
A power outage plunges the foursome into darkness, encouraging new liaisons to form, life-long secrets to be unveiled, and steamy lessons to be learned. But once the storm moves on, can the four find a balance and resume their normal lives?

Sami's Review:
Life sometimes takes us on some unexpected journeys down paths we would have never imagined possible. All Anne wants is to have a child. After two years of trying her and Brian still have not managed to accomplish this and she grows weary of what the issue may be. Brian refuses to go get tested and so Anne is left with little to no options. Together they run a bed and breakfast in the Alps. While they get many visitors none stand out more that Mica and Todd. One a handsome young all American boy the other a magnificent Italian specimen of a man. During their visit to the bed and breakfast things get heated in the best ways possible. Secrets come out and desires are finally coming to the light. This book is just WOW filled with enough eroticism to wheat anyone’s appetite, yet still maintaining a clear view on love in all its forms. Great read.

EXCERPT:
Breathing deeply to calm her nerves, she approached the unfortunate bicyclist and bent to grab his handlebar.
Surely by pure coincidence, one of his gloved hands landed on hers, curling strong fingers around her small ones and helping her pull until the bike stood upright between them.
Still, even as he stood on his feet, his hand lingered, holding hers firmly on the hard-plastic handle.
Anne looked up into his face, seeing him for the first time. How in the world had she missed such a jewel earlier? Among tanned, Latin features, a pair of black diamonds sparkling with mischief stared back without shame. His long, black locks were swept back in a ponytail, revealing a single golden earring in his left lobe. Large chest muscles heaved beneath a tight, pink spandex shirt, begging to be caressed by a woman’s hand, and black chest hairs peeked from the open collar.
Unable to believe the seductive intensity he exuded, she sucked in a breath and held it while the world narrowed. Her head buzzed. “What?”
“What?” The beautiful bicyclist used the same low tone, his full lips forming a teasing grin inches from her face. He was so near she could smell his hot breath. Intoxicating.
How had he come so close? And how long before her husband noticed?
Thankfully, Brian’s calm, indifferent voice rose behind her, addressing the blond bicyclist. “So you’re looking for a place to stay?”
“Yeah. We’ve already asked in several different villages on our way here.”
Anne tugged at her trapped hand and took a demonstrative step back. “Please.”
“Oh.” Feigning surprise, the dark beauty lifted an eyebrow and removed his hand, allowing her to retrieve hers. “Sorry,” he added, rolling a thick R with his tongue, keeping his lips parted a second too long. A move so deliberately naughty, her stomach knotted with need.
As she retreated, he studied her face with a grin, arrogance and amusement gleaming in his dark eyes, before turning his attention to the two other men.
Blood pulsing in her temples, she copied his movement.

Excerpts of Ménage Under the Mistletoe by Eva Lilly
Excerpt #1

Claire Matthews paused in the doorway of Guns ‘N’ Hoses’ back room, taking in the dozen cops and firefighters who’d been recruited to pose for a fundraiser calendar. Despite the abundance of bare-chested men, only her two roommates interested her—far more than she was willing to admit.
Sean Dalton posed in front of a cardboard fireplace, a pair of short-skirted “elves” flanking either side. Stripped to the waist of his bunker gear and wearing a red and white felt hat, Mr. December likely made every girl there want to start a fire someplace.
Claire had met him and his best friend, Max Devon, six months ago when she answered their ad for a roommate on the bulletin board in Northwestern’s student union. Her attraction to both guys had been growing ever since. Unable to choose between them, she’d kept her feelings under wraps. Now, with the news from home, it seemed as if fate had yanked that decision away from her.
While she’d been fixated on one roommate, she hadn’t seen the other approaching. Max wrapped a thick arm around her, pulling her in for a kiss. This wasn’t any friendly peck on the cheek either. His mouth moved against hers, warming her from her lips, which were answering his demand to open and let him plunder deeper, to her toes curling inside her boots. When he finally broke the kiss after several seconds, she blinked up at him.
“Mistletoe,” he answered, holding a sprig over her head. Then he shot her one of his trademark bad-boy grins. At six-three and with dark hair and chocolate eyes, everything about him screamed trouble, right down to the sinful things he did to a pair of jeans and biker jacket. Tonight he wore his policeman’s uniform, which he filled out very nicely and made her wonder what it would be like get a good frisking from him.

Excerpt #2
Claire Matthews propped the envelope containing her goodbye letter to Sean and Max against her dresser mirror where they’d find it in the morning when they came looking for her. Hefting her backpack onto her shoulder, she grabbed her suitcase and opened her bedroom door.
“Going somewhere?” Max asked. His jaw ticked with barely banked anger, sending Claire’s pulse into overdrive. When she didn’t answer, he kicked off the wall where he’d been waiting. “I asked you a question, little one. I expect an answer.”
She hated what she was about to do, but she’d played this scenario in her head enough to know how her guys would react if she told them the truth. Sean would make all kinds of promises about how he could help her. Max would go all dark and dangerous and try to track down Billy. Neither plan would work. Others had done the same and failed, so she was going to have to be cruel to the two men she loved. “I’m moving out. I told you that the other day.”
“You were just going to disappear on us?” He glared at her from beneath hooded eyes. “Did you give any thought to what that would do to Sean?”
Claire pointed over her shoulder to her room. “I left you a note explaining everything. I was trying to avoid a confrontation such as this.”
Max closed the distance between them, towering over her. “I can’t believe you’d do that to him. Have you no idea how much the guy loves you?”
“I’ve been straight with both of you from the beginning, but neither of you wants to hear that,” she said, fighting to get the words past the lump in her throat. “I don’t do the relationship thing.”
Just then Sean stepped into the hallway, pulling on a pair of sweatpants that hung low on his hips. “What’s going on?” he asked, scrubbing his palm over his cropped hair. “Can’t this wait till morning?”
Max’s glare never left her face. “No, it can’t. I just caught Claire trying to sneak away.”
In a pair of long-legged strides, Sean joined them. “Why would you do that?”
“On top of that, she’s trying to feed me some bullshit line about her disinterest in having a relationship with you.”
Pain flashed in Sean’s green eyes before he hid it behind a mask of concern. “Claire, baby,” he said caressing her cheek with the back of his hand. “We know something’s going on, that you’re in some kind of trouble. Whatever it is, let me—”
“Save you,” Claire finished for him.
“Yeah,” Sean said.
The venom-laced words burned her throat on the way out. “I’m going to let you in on something—I don’t need saving.” She forced herself to hold his gaze. Witnessing the anguish in his green eyes seemed just punishment in light of the pain she caused.
Max threw his arms up and yelled, “Jesus, Claire. What’s wrong with you?”
She jerked her face to him, finding it easier to deal with his anger than Sean’s concern. “Nothing a few thousand miles won’t fix.”
She broke from Sean’s embrace and made for the stairs. But Max was on her before she made two steps. “That’s it,” he said, grabbing her wrist. “Sean, get my cuffs off the dresser in my room.” The last thing she saw before he threw her over his shoulder in a fireman’s hold was Sean scurrying off to complete his assignment. She struggled to escape. Why was he making this so hard?

Excerpt #3
A muffled groan brought Sean’s gaze up Claire’s body where Max was feeding her his cock. The sight made his mouth water. Later. He redoubled his efforts to bring Claire to orgasm. A girl as open and giving as she deserved to be showered in passion and kept on the verge of orgasm at least twenty hours a day.
Sean inserted two fingers into Claire’s hot channel, searching for her g-spot. When he found the raised bump, he worked it with his fingers as he fluttered his tongue over her clit. She rewarded his efforts with a burst of cream that he lapped up greedily. Claire’s cunt tightened around his fingers, signaling an impending release. He hummed against her sex, sending her over the edge. Sean rode out her orgasm as she bucked her hips. The beautiful sounds she made went straight to his cock. As she recovered, he rested a cheek against the apex of her thighs. The scent of her arousal mixed with her body wash, filled his head. He could worship her for the rest of his days and not grow tired.
Claire’s movement as she sat up brought him out of his thoughts. Her lips were red and plump from sucking Max and a beautiful flush colored her skin. Her eyelids fluttered open. “You two have proven you’re gentlemen.” She tugged on his arm, pulling him to the top of the bed.
“It’s your turn, Sean.”
“Are you sure you’re ready?” Max asked, brushing a thumb over Sean’s cheek.
He leaned into the caress. Knowing Max would use the first hint of doubt as reason to pull away, Sean prayed his voice came out steady. He took a deep breath and opened his heart to his friend.
“Make love to me, Max.”
Sean thought he might spontaneously combust as Max’s calloused hands moved across his skin. His cock hardened to the point of pain while Max eased Sean’s jeans and boxer briefs down his hips. Then Claire pushed against Sean’s shoulders, so that he leaned against the pillows. He brought Claire with him to rest on one side. Then they both watched as Max stalked across the mattress towards them. His shoulder muscles bunched as he crawled up Sean’s body. Sean raised his mouth in silent invitation. He ached for his friend to take him with the same intensity Max showed Claire. When his lips covered Sean’s in a tentative kiss, he fisted Max’s short hair, fusing their lips.
Max groaned a protest. “Easy.”
He broke the kiss and fixed Sean with a dark look. “You don’t have to be gentle with me. This may be my first rodeo, but I’m tougher than I look.”
Max let out a breath. “I know, but I don’t think I can do that, Sean.”
Frustration boiled inside him. “Why not?”
Max clenched his jaw, his gaze going from lust hazed to anxious.
Claire cupped Sean’s cheek, turning his face towards her. “Because it’s you,” she answered.
Max nodded. “What she said.”
“What do I have to do to prove to you that I’m ready for this?” Sean asked, fisting the sheet.

Loving Ellie Review Tour....

Loving Ellie
by Lindsey Brookes
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 10, 2014

Ellie Sanders is pregnant and alone. Carrying a child she’d conceived the one and only time she’d lain with her closest friend, Jarrett Tanner. A man she’d agreed to marry for the sake of their child. A man she’d loved, but not as he’d deserved. And now he was gone.

Lucas Tanner returns home to settle his younger brother Jarrett’s estate only to discover his brother left behind a very pregnant fiancée. Having lost his own wife and their baby she’d been carrying years before, he’s bound and determined to stick around and make sure Ellie’s child makes it safely into the world. Even if it means facing the ghosts of his past.

Struggling financially and emotionally, Ellie is torn between keeping her baby and giving it up for adoption. She wants to give her child the chance she never had - to be raised by two loving parents. If only she could make Lucas understand. And, if only she wasn't falling for a man with no heart left to give.

Lucas finds himself wanting more. Wanting Ellie. But what if he gives in to his deepening feelings and loses her, too?

One fears abandonment. The other fears loss. Can Ellie and Lucas put their painful pasts behind them and finally find true happiness? Or are the emotional walls they've built up around their hearts too strong to tear down?

Ellie reminded him of a winter woodland nymph with those big green eyes and hair dusted a shimmery white.

“I see the snow hasn't stopped.” He reached out to brush several glistening flakes from her hair.

“Not completely,” she said softly.

A horse whinnied somewhere in the barn.

The intimacy of what he was doing hit him and he jerked his hand away.

Ellie took a step back. “What are you doing out here?”

“Would you believe I have a thing for sleeping on straw-covered floors?”

“As opposed to a warm bed?”

Reaching out, he took the broom from her hands. “I’ll see to the floors.”

“Like you saw to more firewood?”

His dark brow quirked. “It’s on the porch. I couldn't get back into the house last night. The door was locked.”

A frown pulled at her lips. “It wasn't locked. The latch sticks sometimes. You have to use your shoe to whack it loose.”

“I’m moving that to the top of my things-to-do list.”

“Why didn't you knock? I could've let you in through the back door?”

“By the time I’d looked in on the animals and gathered up the firewood, your bedroom light was out. As tired as you were earlier, I wasn't about to wake you up when I had a perfectly good barn to sleep in.”

“You could have frozen to death out here.”

He stood looking down at her, suddenly aware of how petite she really was. She couldn't stand much more than five foot one or two in her stocking feet. He supposed her stubbornness and determination made up for her size, but she was still a woman alone. One who was biting off more than she could chew.

The concern in her eyes had him offering a reassuring smile. “I’d like to think I’m a little tougher than that.”

“You’re also human,” she reminded him with a frown. “People die.” Turning, she walked out of the small storage room.

That was one thing he didn't need reminded of.

Sami's Review:
Lucas ran away from the only home he has ever known years ago because of loss and a pain he could not endure. What brings him back is a true tragedy the loss of his brother. For him he will face his old pain and loss but he gets way more than he bargained for when he sets foot on the ranch again.
Ellie has known nothing but loss and abandonment all her life. Yet when she met Jarrett she thought all of that had changed. Until he was taken from her in a horrible accident. Left alone to raise a baby by herself she has no idea what to do. Lucas and Ellie come to a weird kind of truce. Yet the longer they are around each other the more their feelings develop as well. Can they save each other from the headaches of the past and build something new and beautiful? Or will they both keep denying their feelings and loose what could be the best thing to ever happen to either of them?

Crystal's Review:
After the loss of his brother, Lucas finds himself drowning in his emotions. He wishes he spoke to him more, he wishes he had spent more time with him. When Lucas goes back home to help take care of his brother's estate, he is shocked to find out that his brother had a fiance, and she was pregnant with his brother's baby.
Ellie has been through a lot in her life, and now she has to deal with her Fiance, Jarrett's, death. Not to mention she's also having to care for their unborn baby. While Ellie is trying to take care of Jarrett's affairs, Lucas shows up and surprises her, and together they realize that they have more in common than they think. Will Ellie get over her the loss of Jerrett? Will Lucas be able to overcome the emotions he's feeling inside? Will both of them work together to ease their pain?

When unexplainable things start to happen even in her new home she believes that the cause is both human and supernatural in nature, but who can she trust? When he has no choice but to call her in to the newest crime scene things get heated in more ways than one. Legends and old myths start to circulate around Tori’s new dwelling. The further she looks into it the more dangerous things become. Finally enlisting the help of Gray she hopes to put an end to all of it. Will the ghosts that haunt Victoria House claim another victim? Will Gray be able to protect Tori from everything that seems to be out to get her? Will the secrets that get uncovered lead to more deaths? Great story that had my heart pumping and my fingers turning the pages at warp speed!

Snippet:
The man had memorized the layout, although he’d never actually been in the house. He’d acquired his information from someone who hated Hamilton as much as he hated Hamilton’s wife. He almost laughed aloud. The old goat had named his brand new house for his brand new third wife. Victoria. The man had heard the house was beautiful. His informant had told him that Hamilton wanted the mansion to be as elegant and sophisticated as his new wife. The baron of Hill County obviously didn’t know her very well. When the man was done with her, there would be nothing elegant or beautiful about the new Mrs. Hamilton.
Once the man reached the top of the basement stairs and entered the kitchen, he stopped and stared. The space was huge, filled with the latest in modern equipment. Large lavish meals were prepared for Hamilton and his numerous guests. So much food wasted when there were people who needed jobs so they could feed their families. Unless a man worked for Hamilton, he had no means to support his wife and children.
Another set of beautifully crafted stairs rose from the kitchen to the second floor. As he climbed, he sucked in oxygen rapidly. He’d already overexerted his weakened body. The consumption was eating him alive, from the inside out. It wouldn’t be long before he coughed up more blood. He should have stopped to rest, but didn’t have the time. Any moment, one of Hamilton’s guards might have found him sneaking around the house.
His breath caught in his pained lungs. If the guards were patrolling the house, even in the middle of the night, why weren’t they making any noise? Certainly, there should be footsteps. Creaking and thudding and bumping. True, the upper floors were carpeted with the finest new materials, but three large men couldn’t keep from making some noise, even on padded flooring. No matter. He continued on his mission, the drive to execute so strong that he would only stop if someone stopped him permanently.
When he reached the second floor hallway, he paused to catch another ragged, raspy breath. The black cloth clung heavy to his face. Sweat covered his skin and dripped down his backbone. He wanted to snatch the mask from his face so he could breathe, so he could wipe the moisture from his skin. Not yet. It wasn’t time yet to reveal his identity.
Her door was at the end of the upstairs hallway. In another heartbeat, his hand was on the doorknob. Victoria was on the other side of the heavy wood door. Only a few more steps, a few more breaths, a few more heartbeats. He’d finally reached his goal. He pushed open the door. Padded across the bedroom floor. Drew back the canopy that sheltered her sleeping form. Raised the knife in the air above his head, pulled the mask from his face...and froze.
Victoria’s eyes were open, unfocused, and unseeing. Her face set in a mask of terror. A scream should surely erupt from her mouth any second. Then his eyes shifted to the blood on her clothing, on her linens, splattered on the headboard of her bed. The thin red line of seeping blood that she wore around her neck like a too tight choker.
Too late. I’m too late. Instinct slammed every one of his senses. Run. Get away. His mind reeled. His feet should have been in motion, but instead he remained frozen in place. He reached out with his free hand to touch her. Even in death she had the power to immobilize and emasculate him.
The man experienced a sharp pain slice across his throat. His fingers released the knife above his head. Before his mind could fully absorb his fate, he watched in horror as the red of his blood mingled with Victoria’s on the bedspread. Just a second of realization. A quick flash of knowing. Just enough time to sense the fatal error he had made.
Then, his world went dark forever.
